Steve has been awarded the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) from the National Speakers Association. The CSP is the highest earned designation awarded by this organization. Only 10% of professional speakers worldwide have passed the rigorous criteria to attain the CSP.

Steve gives back to his community. He just finished serving as the International President for Kiwanis International. His leadership led this organization to the highest growth they have seen in 15 years. He has been a member of the Board of Governors for the Iowa Easter Seals and has served as Chairman of the Board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

His favorite titles are husband, dad, and grandpa. Steve has enjoyed 36 incredible years of marriage to his wife Barb. Their three children are all married and have blessed Steve and Barb with eight awesome grandkids.

He has authored two books entitled Push-Ups For People and Together We Can plus co-authored a book entitled Give Stress A Rest.
